Yarde Metals is looking for a Plant Operations Coordinator to join our Operations Team. A Plant Operations Coordinator provides clerical and data entry support to operations.
Job Responsibilities
Enter and process receivers, shipments, work orders, inventory transfers, inventory modifications, and customer returns in computer system.
Review and proofread reports and system documents for accuracy.
Research material usage to reconcile systems inventory discrepancies.
Work with various departments to resolve inventory issues.
Print inventory tags and prepare paperwork for shipments.
Match and file bills of lading, packing slips, work orders, and certifications.
Assist internal and external customers with questions and expedite orders.
Track and report truck mileage and weights.
Review weekly activity reports and take necessary action.
Scan, coordinate, and file paperwork.
Assist with special projects and performing additional tasks as directed by supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Experience directly related to the duties of the position strongly preferred.
Effective communication skills, can work independently, organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and strong problem-solving skills.
Must be able to read, understand, and carry out work instructions in English.
