Plant Operations Manager

American Construction Metals (ACM), a rapidly growing manufacturing strategic business unit of ABC Supply, is currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, quality, safety, and logistics
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Oversee and maintain the plant’s quality management system, including ISO compliance
• Hire, develop, and manage manufacturing staff (training, performance, corrective actions)
• Manage production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency
• Address customer and product quality issues, including corrective action processes
• Drive process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
• Partner with sales and branch teams on product and service-related needs
• Manage plant budget, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve operational performance and profitability

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Management, or related field + 2 years of relevant experience
  OR
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Management, or related field + 5 years of relevant experience

Required Experience

• Full P&L responsibility for a manufacturing operation
• Turnaround or restructuring environments
• ISO compliance and certification processes
• Six Sigma or LEAN certification (Green or Black Belt)
• ERP systems (JD Edwards)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Capacity planning, inventory control, and production scheduling

Salary: $90,000 annually
