Plant Production Operator (Full Time)

Millborn Seeds is seeking a Plant Production Operator,  a key member of Millborn Brookings operations team, responsible for supporting daily production and distribution activities. While this role will have a strong emphasis on supporting distribution and order fulfillment, the ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to learn all areas of the operation and can be counted on to step in wherever help is needed.

This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and thrives in a team environment where no task is beneath anyone. The ideal candidate is internally motivated with an unwavering drive toward excellence. They are detail-oriented and can juggle multiple tasks throughout the day. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute daily workload alongside full and part-time teammates while offering guidance, support and instruction
• Serve as a versatile, go-to operator supporting multiple areas of the warehouse and operation based on daily priorities and production needs
• Support daily distribution activities, including order fulfillment, staging, loading, unloading, and shipment preparation.
• Support work as needed across bulk packaging, mixing, distribution and fulfillment, shifting between functions as needed to keep production needs moving efficiently
• Cross-train across multiple areas of the operation to increase flexibility and team effectiveness
• Assist in receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse flow to maintain organization, accuracy, and productivity 
• Operate forklifts, loaders, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with hands on training of new teammates as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Basic machine troubleshooting

Preferred

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, agriculture, seed, or distribution operations
• Forklift certification or equipment operation experience.
• Experience operating basic production or warehouse equipment
• Knowledge of agricultural products or seed industry operations
