- Assist surgeons during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies

- Educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions

- Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a sterile environment

- Perform administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred

- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is a plus

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to plastic and reconstructive surgery

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

- 2 years experience REQUIRED with Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery
