Plastic Surgery-Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

University of Maryland Shore Medical Group is seeking an experienced NP or PA to join an exciting new specialty practice led by Dr. Joshua Harrison, a highly skilled plastic surgeon specializing in advanced cosmetic and reconstructive services. We are seeking a talented, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to become a key member of our growing team in Easton, Md.

In this role, you will work in a primarily outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient consults. You’ll partner closely with Dr. Harrison to provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care, assist with minor office procedures, perform follow-ups, and administer injections.

• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations

• Assist with and perform minor in-office procedures
• Provide cosmetic injections and related treatments
• Manage follow-up visits and patient education
• Participate in occasional inpatient consults as needed
• Collaborate closely with the surgeon and care team to ensure exceptional patient experiences

• Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
•  Possesses and maintains current Board Certification of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Possess a current RNFA or ability to acquire one within the first year
• Minimum 2 years of surgical experience (plastic surgery experience preferred)
• Strong background in cosmetics and/or aesthetics is a plus
• Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team-based care skills

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $129,856.00 annual salary based on years of experience and may be negotiable
