Position Summary

API Integrator

is responsible for developing and maintaining various system integrations which include application-to-application integrations, services, and internal and external APIs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
Integrate with 3rd party API services where needed.
Verify and deploy programs and systems.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of relevant internet protocols (i.e. TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, etc)
Strong understanding of data structures and mapping techniques between disparate systems.
Knowledge of technical writing principles and practices.
Knowledge of API's (REST) and the ability to understand JSON/ XML files.

Education and Licenses
Associates degree preferred not required
Minimum 2 years experience in API integrations or development
Preferred PEO industry, onboarding, payroll software experience
API, coding or scripting certification a plus .
