Pay:$28/hour
Location:Catoosa
Shift:4 days on / 4 days off, day and night shifts available (assigned by supervisor upon hire)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled PLC Technician to support automation systems at our Catoosa facility. The PLC Technician will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining Siemens PLC platforms to ensure optimal performance of automated machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required Experience & Skills

· 5+ years in a manufacturing environment as an Industrial Mechanic Tech

· High school diploma or GED preferred; technical school certification preferred

· Proven experience with Siemens PLC platforms (TIA Portal and Step7)

· Strong knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and electrical troubleshooting

· Ability to read and interpret ladder logic, schematics, and technical documentation

· Familiarity with HMI interfaces, sensors, actuators, and industrial networking

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills

· Technical certification or vocational training in electrical or automation systems preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems using Siemens TIA Portal and Step7

· Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues in automated equipment

· Perform routine maintenance and updates on PLC-controlled systems

· Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on process improvements

· Maintain accurate records of programming changes and system configurations

· Provide technical support and training to staff on PLC operation and safety

· Operate rigging equipment, align gears/shafts, and connect motors as needed

· Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems

· Follow OSHA and company safety policies in all tasks as a PLC Technician

Preferred Education

· Technical certification in electrical, PLC programming, or automation systems
