Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team! In this role, you will perform diagnostics, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and commercial environments.

You are an experienced Plumber with a commitment to quality in all the work you do. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities

Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment

Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand or power tools

Plan the layout of plumbing

Perform maintenance of water supply systems

Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems

Professionally interact with customers and clearly communicate work orders and statuses

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional experience

Strong knowledge of plumbing

Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

About Us

Northeast Plumbing and Heating opened our shop in January of 1990. We are located in Northeast Harbor, Maine on Mount Desert Island (MDI).

We pride ourselves in keeping up with the latest technologies and innovations in the plumbing and heating industry. To date we have successfully installed geothermal systems and continue to work on more projects in this alternative source of energy. We have installed pellet boilers with the same success.

Staff

The majority of our Technicians Have been with us for over ten years. The office staff has very few changes over the past 20 years. All of our Technicians are licensed by the State of Maine and proudly displayed at our office at 110 Main Street Northeast Harbor.
