Jennings Mechanical is a premier mechanical contracting company specializing in commercial plumbing and HVAC systems across South Carolina. With a strong commitment to quality workmanship, team collaboration, and safety standards, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to support our growing operations in the Charleston, SC area.

Position Summary

As a Commercial Plumber, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and light industrial environments. You will work with a team of skilled tradespeople to deliver high-performance solutions that meet building codes, project specs, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

Install and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, waste, vent, and gas lines
Set and connect fixtures, valves, pumps, sinks, toilets, water heaters, and backflow preventers
Interpret and follow blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and ensure code compliance
Collaborate with HVAC techs, general contractors, and project managers to meet construction deadlines
Maintain a safe and organized job site, adhering to OSHA safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a commercial plumber, pipefitter, or plumbing installer
In-depth knowledge of commercial plumbing codes, piping systems, and installation best practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools for plumbing installation and repair
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Plumber's license or Journeyman certification is a plus
