DESCRIPTION:
As a

Plumbing Designer

at WDF Inc., reporting to

VP – Mechanical Operations

you will be:
Responsible for designing plumbing systems for modular structures
Managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing technical guidance
Ensure all plumbing systems are installed correctly, meet quality standards, and meet client expectations
Under limited supervision, coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents
Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems
Process contractor submittals
Perform feasibility studies
Prepare limited construction cost estimates within discipline
Develop, maintain, and use standard details
Adhere to budgets and meeting schedule requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution desired
Seven (7) + years of experience in plumbing design, preferably with experience in designing plumbing systems for modular structures
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD to create plumbing system designs
Proficient in the Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD 2008 or newer. (AutoCAD MEP & Revit a Plus)
Design/Build Project experience including Commercial, Mixed-Use, Educational, Institutional, high-Rise, Life sciences, etc.
Knowledge of local Code & Standards, regulatory and LEED requirements
Excellent written and verbal skills
Salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000 depending on experience
