Job Summary

Do It Right Plumbers is currently seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and solutions-driven Plumbing Dispatcher to join our growing team. In this vital role, you’ll serve as the central hub for coordinating field technician schedules, ensuring timely response to customer service requests, and optimizing technician productivity. Key Responsibilities

Scheduling & Dispatch

• Receive and review all incoming service requests via phone, email, and text.


• Assign jobs based on technician availability, skillset, and proximity.


• Adjust and update daily schedules to respond to real-time changes and emergencies.


• Monitor job progress, track service calls, and follow up to ensure timely completion.

Customer Communication

• Handle inbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy

• Serve as the first point of contact for service updates and ETA communication.


• Confirm appointments and follow-ups with customers.


• Provide clear and professional communication with customers regarding technician arrival, delays, or changes.

Documentation & Systems

• Input and maintain accurate job and customer data in dispatch software Service Titan.


• Update service logs, job summaries, and technician notes.


• Track technician hours, job completion status, and outcomes.

Team Coordination

• Act as a liaison between field technicians, customer service reps (CSRs), and managers.


• Relay detailed job information and notes to technicians prior to dispatch.


• Ensure technicians are fully prepared for each call with job history, customer preferences, and parts/tools required.

Qualifications

Required:

• 1+ years of dispatching experience in a plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or similar home service industry.


• Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.


• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively.


• Comfort with scheduling/dispatch software and cloud-based systems.

Preferred:

• Experience with Service Titan or similar CRM software.


• Familiarity with basic plumbing terminology and service types.


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Schedule
