Job Description - Plumbing Foreman

LCS is hiring an experienced Plumbing Foreman to lead our self-perform group. Duties include supervising and managing a team of plumbers for the assembly and repair of plumbing systems. Knowledge of commercial and industrial plumbing is a must. 



 


Responsibilities



  • Responsible for the supervision of field plumbers and related subcontractors for the installation, repair, and renovation of plumbing systems.

  • Supervise day-to-day operations and delegate tasks to LCS plumbers and subcontractors while ensuring each project's safety, quality of work, and timely completion. 

  • Able to manage multiple projects across Southern California simultaneously.

  • Review blueprints and confirm project scopes, budgets, and timelines.

  • Communicate and produce status updates and provide reports of the project to management.

  • Document materials and equipment use and report any problems that may arise. 



  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work well with employees, management, vendors, and clients.

  • Ability to solve problems that come up during day-to-day operations.

  • Confidently make decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.



 


Qualifications



  • 3 or more years’ experience as a plumbing foreman and managing a team of plumbers.

  • Must pass a full background, physical, and drug test. 

  • Experience with plumbing systems, including the installation and maintenance of water supply systems, as well as technical experience and knowledge for repairing issues with water supply lines and gas/liquid heating systems.



  • Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in commercial and industrial buildings. Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances. 

  • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)

  • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.



  • Great interpersonal communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Procore

  • Ability to resolve complex issues with a “can-do” attitude.
