Responsibilities


  • Project Planning and Management: Lead the planning and execution of commercial plumbing projects, including coordinating schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor plumbing crews, and apprentices providing guidance, training, and support to ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of plumbing installations to ensure they meet industry standards and client expectations, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Material and Equipment Management: Manage the procurement and inventory of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment required for projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a culture of safety on job sites, ensuring that all team members follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, addressing their concerns, providing project updates, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues that may arise during projects, developing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including work hours, material usage, and any changes or deviations from the original project plan.
  • Code and Regulation Compliance: Ensure all plumbing installations adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project expenses and work to minimize costs while maintaining quality standards, helping to maximize profitability.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-trade job sites to ensure seamless project execution and coordination.
  • Training and Development: Continuously assess and enhance the skills and knowledge of plumbing team members through training and development initiatives.
  • Customer Service: Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service, aiming to exceed client expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to project managers and higher management, keeping them informed about project status, challenges, and successes.

  • Journeyman License
  • OSHA training
  • Must be available to travel for work
  • 6-10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
