As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Plumbing Manager to join our leadership team and help drive operational excellence across our plumbing division.
Position Overview
The Plumbing Manager will play a critical role in the strategic oversight and day-to-day operations of our plumbing department, with a focus on residential and light commercial on new construction, remodels, and service call execution.
This leadership position requires a hands-on expert with strong management capabilities, a commitment to quality, and the ability to foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for all plumbing activities, including:
- Residential and light commercial new construction
- Remodel and renovation projects
- Service calls and emergency repairs
- Supervise and mentor field technicians, foremen, and apprentices
- Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and resource planning in partnership with project managers and dispatch
- Conduct site evaluations, ensure job readiness, and maintain compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards
- Oversee quality control, job costing, and project reporting
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and job-specific inventory
- Serve as a technical authority and liaison for internal teams, clients, inspectors, and vendors
- Support talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for plumbing personnel
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Tennessee Plumbing License (Master License strongly preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience, with proven leadership in new construction and service operations
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety compliance
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with web based operating systems, digital reporting tools, and project management software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
