Job Description - Plumbing Manager

Manage a team of plumbers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Oversee the planning and execution of plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
Monitor and manage inventory of plumbing materials and equipment.
Handle residential and commercial plumbing work with excellence, speed, and pride
Use your NC Plumbing License to oversee the pulling of permits, pass inspections, and do things the right way
Collaborate with dispatchers, managers, and warehouse team using ServiceTitan (or learn it — fast)
Train and influence junior techs — you’ll be looked up to, not micromanaged
Track job performance, margins, and KPIs — we’re not guessing at success anymore

Requirements

Licensed Plumber (Required) with at least 5+ years in the field
Someone who gets the business side: labor efficiency, material costs, closeout procedures
Not afraid of technology — you’ll use software to clock in, track materials, and communicate
Hungry, humble, and sharp — you want a long-term home
Proven experience as a Plumbing Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of plumbing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
