Plumbing Quality Control Manager

The QC Field Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of all plumbing installations and repairs. This role involves conducting inspections, training technicians, developing quality standards, and ensuring adherence to local and national plumbing codes. The QC Manager will work closely with field teams, project managers, and leadership to drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field inspections to ensure plumbing work meets company standards, codes, and customer expectations.
• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to reduce errors, rework, and compliance issues.
• Train and mentor plumbers, apprentices, and field teams on best practices, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain detailed reports on inspections, deficiencies, and improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to ensure consistent quality across all jobs.
• Stay up to date with plumbing codes, regulations, and industry advancements.
• Handle customer complaints related to workmanship and implement solutions to prevent future issues.
• Lead internal audits and ensure company policies align with industry standards.

•  Minimum 5+ years of experience in plumbing installation, repair, or project management.
• Master Plumber license (preferred) or extensive experience with plumbing codes and compliance.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to train and mentor plumbing teams effectively.
• Proficiency in using inspection reports, checklists, and digital documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams and customers.
