Plumbing Service Technician

American Plumbing Heating & Air Conditiioning (APHAC) is looking for a talented and skilled plumbing service and repair technician to join our team.  APHAC is based in Oceanside Ca and is a small family owned service and repair company that has been in business in the North San Diego area for over 20 years.

We are looking for someone that has a minimum of 3 years continuous experience in the trade that is willing to grow in the company. Must have certain characteristics and skills such as;

- Be dependable, trustworthy, and self motivated

- Excellent customer service and have good communication skills

- Discuss various options/solutions with clients when it comes to their plumbing systems, and help them determine which option is best for their situation.

- Follow detailed instructions

- Decent driving record and valid DL

- Special certification to handle certain piping.

- Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our client's home fixtures.

- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems and the techniques/tools

- Ability to work on confined spaces such as attics and under structures

- Residential and Commercial experience

- Perform emergency repairs as scheduling needs dictate

- Willingness to work some weekends and at odd hours based on scheduling needs

- Comply with all relevant health and safety standards

APHAC will provide company vehicle to drive home, cell phone, uniform, all equipment to perform jobs (except hand tools). Pay is based on experience and role with company. We offer medical benefits, vacation pay, holiday pay, sick pay, bonus pay.
