The Plumbing Supervisor will work as a lead component of a dynamic and extremely passionate team, demonstrating motivational and technical competency to help train and build our technicians into extraordinary service men, top level customer service skills to provide customers with unmatched quality services. The Plumbing Supervisor will display leadership abilities to maintain positive working relationships to create a successful company culture, and managerial accountability in order to ensure the desired company metrics. 

Additional key responsibilities are as follows:

• Know Tech skill levels and keep updated with tech status throughout the day 
• Communicate and collaborate with Plumbers and Coordinator in a manner that promotes respect, trust, and ensures understanding to ensure maximum productivity and profitability of self and the total resources 
• Train and monitor Plumbing team to ensure each service call is executed with technical perfection 
• Supervise and support staff and provide constructive feedback and corrective coaching; create measurable performance improvement action/development plans as needed 
• Manage and facilitate service and repair techs, re-pipe crews, laborer crews, sewer crews, etc. 
• Be knowledgeable on pricing and build, edit and update the current price book 
• Ensures that all company policies, procedures, and SOP’s are being followed by Department staff 
• Ensure sufficient staffing to meet the demand of feast or famine seasons in the industry, fluctuating workloads and requested vacation or sick days 
• Create and conduct sales and lead generation contests and/or programs that drive revenue 
• Regularly monitors sales trends, market dynamics, product performance results and customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts; assess key competitors programs 
• Work with Management team effectively 
• Ability to think strategically and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment 
• Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and sales skills 
• Industry related training 
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in Plumbing or Home Services industry, preferably in sales-related roles 
• Sales Management experience preferred 
• Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills 
• Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments 
• Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general software navigation 
• Must seek out continuing education in the Plumbing and Customer Service fields 
• Have a clean, neat, professional appearance; a top performer who can instill pride in workmanship in themselves and others 
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 20lbs occasionally 
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
• Bend, stoop, and carry 
• Repeating motion that may include wrists, hands, and fingers
