Position Overview

We are looking for a Plumbing Technician to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. This role focuses on troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in multi-family residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install and maintain plumbing systems using materials such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX.
• Detect and repair leaks both within buildings and external pipelines.
• Perform drain cleaning and resolve sewage backup issues efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications for plumbing tasks.
• Assess project requirements and identify necessary materials.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of assignments, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Repair, replace, or upgrade plumbing system components as needed.
• Install eco-friendly plumbing solutions, including flow restrictors and tankless water heaters.
• Execute welding for small pipes or specialized piping systems.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.

Requirements

• Prior experience in multi-family property maintenance or a related field.
• Journeyman or Master plumber certification (preferred but not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (not mandatory).
• Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle are required.
• Must use personal vehicles and tools for job-related tasks.
• Willingness to travel for work assignments as needed.
