PM Shift Housekeeping Supervisor

The housekeeping supervisor will be in charge of the department for the PM shift. Overseeing Turndown and the PM team in their daily duties; he or she will be required to oversee all housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises housekeeping staff as duties are being performed


• Will assist with Turndown and public areas


• Stocks and maintains supply rooms


• Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services


• Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards


• Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards


• Organizes the team and ensures appropriate projects and tasks are complete


• Assists guests with questions and basic requests


• Provides a high level of customer service at all times; remains professional


• Trains new housekeepers and support staff


• Meets with company officials regularly in order to provide progress reports and address issues

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required


• Previous experience in housekeeping supervision 


• Exceptional interpersonal skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Good time management and organizational skills


• Conflict resolution experience


• Patience and good listening skills
