PM/Change mgmt/Remdy/Risk - Career Growth Potential

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Will be part of a team that administer the overall Change Management for the Project Book of Work that plan, execute and facilitate successful and compliant software deployment process
• Additional duties include administrative tasks, stakeholder coordination, records updates, process documentation, etc.
• Responsible for overseeing changes and projects within our organization
• Work will include cross-functional initiatives with other technical
• Work independently as well as efficiently with peer Change Coordinators to eliminate duplications of effort, and motivate software developers, scrum masters, and project managers to build cooperative work teams to deliver results
• Assess and advise of solutions to improve processes
• Proactively engage to assess readiness and minimize risk of non-compliance and negative impact from changes

Requirements:

• Over 3 years Project/Change Management experience
• Comprehensive understanding of project management and strong knowledge of Change Management theory and team dynamics
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to provide clear status updates to senior management, clear summarization of technical change, and report details at correct level
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow an existing refined process, while also seeking continual improvements
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, make decisions to initiate action, and adapt to change

Desired skills:

• Prior Change Coordinator experience
• B.S. degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Experience with ITSM, BMC Remedy Ticketing System, JIRA, and project risks tools such as PPRT
• Knowledge of other project and change management software and tools
• Banking experience, along with comprehensive knowledge of business unit's functions

Pay Range: $57.70 - $65.70
