Join our well-respected team of mental health professionals at Mid Cities Psychiatry, where we specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health illnesses, including treatment-resistant depression and substance use disorders.

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) on our team, you'll play a vital role in helping patients overcome their mental health challenges and improve their quality of life.

Job Summary
  • Conducting patient assessments to diagnose mental health conditions
Job Description

  • Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications

  • Monitoring patients' response to treatment and adjusting treatment plans as needed

  • Interpreting psychological tests

  • Collaborating with other mental health professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, to coordinate patient care

  • Documenting patient medical records

  • Communicating with patients and their families regarding their care and treatment plans

  • Conducting medication reconciliations and managing medication refills

  • Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options

  • Responding to patient inquiries and concerns

  • Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of patient information

 Qualifications 

  • Master's Degree (Required)

  • Licensure To Practice in the State of Texas (Required)

  • Certification

  • US work authorization (Required)

  • Strong clinical background with solid experience in psychotherapy

  • Responsive to a fast-paced environment

  • Must have a working knowledge of EMR/EHR

  • Bi-lingual is a plus
