SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT
Supports a culture of safe production and operations; follows all safety rules and procedures. Actively participates in the safety program by engaging in training activities to learn what constitutes a safety hazard; reporting safety concerns to the supervisor, submitting safety suggestions, and correcting or reporting to the appropriate people when an employee sees a workplace health or safety hazard, until it is resolved. Assists with communicating safety information to new employees. Fulfills responsibilities as outlined in the company safety management plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or professional certification; or 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to use the metric system.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Negotiating ability, the ability to work with suppliers to create the best deals.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent computer skills, primarily with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) and Smartsheet. Prior experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is highly desirable. Good attention to detail skills are required. Promotes teamwork, maintains a positive attitude, and demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to change tasks and help where needed in a fast-paced environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with vendors by e-mail, phone, or fax, to log in information, and to handle products and samples. Employee is occasionally required to move from place to place in the warehouse, and to examine products by sight, taste, or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color differentiation.
