Responsibilities

• 
  

  Diagnose and treat a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions, including:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Bunions

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Heel pain

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Diabetic foot complications

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Sports injuries

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Nail and skin disorders

    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Perform minor podiatric procedures and administer appropriate treatments.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide preventive foot care and patient education.

  
  


• 
  

  Recommend and provide specialized services, including:

    Custom Orthotics

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Laser Treatments

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Other advanced podiatric services

    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Educate patients on treatment options and develop individualized care plans.

  Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant medical documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Stay current on advances in podiatric medicine and evidence-based treatment practices.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.

  
  


• 
  

  Active New York State Podiatry License.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience diagnosing and treating a broad range of podiatric conditions.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience recommending and providing cash-based services such as custom orthotics, laser treatments, or similar specialty services preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and patient education skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to build strong patient relationships.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
