PODM and Back End Systems Application Developer 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and IBM Sterling OMS. 

• Develop and integrate scalable RESTful services and event-driven solutions using Kafka. 

• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot database solutions using Oracle DB and SQL. 

• Participate in application design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance optimization. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable backend solutions. 

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development and security best practices. 

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical support. 

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement. 

REQUIRED SKILLS 

• OMS: IBM Sterling OMS. 

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot. 

• Messaging: Apache Kafka. 

• APIs: RESTful Services. 

• Database: Oracle DB, SQL. 

• Strong understanding of backend development, system integration, microservices, and enterprise application architecture. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. 

• 5+ years of experience in backend application development. 

• Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS and Java-based enterprise applications. 

• Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, RESTful services, Oracle DB, and SQL. 

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. 

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 42,000

Maximum Compensation: USD 147,000

Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
