The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include application development and management, enterprise architecture, and technology risk and compliance.
About the role

What you need to know:
Policy Admin Technical Lead will be responsible for managing a team supporting:
High level solution design handoffs with architecture.
Development effort and duration estimation.
Low-level design.
Dependency identification and management.
Development speed / pace.
Development quality and hygiene.
Resource management (mostly contract resources but may include AIG associates also).
Testing support
Maintenance
Level 3 support
The lead's technical and functional scope includes the full technology stack for the Policy Admin Lite Services (Quote, Book, Bind, Issue, MTA's, select Rating):
Duck Creek
User interface
Integration
Java / Spring business service development.
Related transactional data stores.
What we’re looking for:
The lead must maintain positive constructive partnerships with related:
Product owners.
Other SCUP Global Capability Tower Leads (Foundation, Submissions, Rating and Forms).
Horizontal IT partners like architecture, info security, DevOps, data, infrastructure, controls and procurement.
System integrator partners.
Project team members.
The ideal candidate will have:
10+ years of experience supporting E2E design, development, delivery in the financial services sector.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; Master’s Degree preferred.
Hands on full stack development experience with an emphasis on java applications.
Duck Creek or equivalent Policy Admin implementation experience.
Working knowledge of cloud computing paradigms, prominent industry design patterns, and agile development methodologies.
