Role Description:

The Eberhard Manufacturing team is seeking a Polisher for our facility in Strongsville, OH. This is a 1st shift, full-time position. The Polisher will be responsible for polishing and finishing metal materials, with a commitment to delivering high-quality surface finishes that meet exacting standards. The ideal candidate would be responsible for preparing and finishing parts by grinding, sanding, and polishing using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.

Responsibilities: 

• Operates Tow Motor and hand jack to move parts into the polishing area
• Stacks hoppers for easy accessibility while grasping for parts
• Applies compound to wheel and then holds part against wheel to polish
• Change over wheels and belts as needed
• Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure consistency in surface finish and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 years of polishing experience (except for trainee position)
• Working with all types of steels
• Strong mechanical aptitude 
• Grit blasting
• Compounds used
• Buff types and when used
