Job Description - Polysomnographer Technologist II

Due to growth and expansion of services in our sleep center, we are currently adding FTE to our Team at our main St. Paul Campus! As a Polysomnography Technologist II we are offering between a .5 FTE - .9 FTE depending on your preference. Straight nights,10-12-hour shifts, Sunday - Friday. Benefit eligible!


The Polysomnographic Technologist, a registered RPSGT or RST with a minimum of one-year clinical experience in sleep, provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under the direction of a physician. This includes polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education.


Compensation & Benefits Information


The hourly wage for this opportunity is $34.65 to $52.00, with a median wage of $43.33. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Qualifications


Required



  • Successful completion of a Polysomnography program, of no less than one year's duration, associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.

  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.

  • Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.
