Pool Service Supervisor

Description

As the Pool Service Supervisor at our esteemed country club, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Pool Service Director in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a superior experience for our members and guests. This position requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a dedication to maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pool Service Director in managing day-to-day pool operations, including lifeguard scheduling, maintenance tasks, and water quality management.
• Implement operational procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Monitor pool usage patterns and adjust staffing levels accordingly to optimize service and safety.
• Supervise and mentor lifeguards, pool attendants, and maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to club policies and safety protocols.
• Conduct training sessions and regular performance evaluations to enhance team skills and maintain high service standards.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
• Interact with club members and guests to understand their needs and address any concerns promptly and courteously.
• Assist in implementing service enhancements based on member feedback and industry trends.
• Maintain a welcoming and clean pool area, ensuring that facilities, equipment, and amenities are well-maintained and attractive.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pool management, lifeguarding, or related roles within a hospitality or recreational setting.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of supervising and motivating a team.
• Knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, guests, and staff.
• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications required; Pool Operator Certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Recreation Management or related field is a plus.
