What You’ll Do:
The Pool Service Technician Manager is a senior-level role responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex pool and spa equipment. This position requires a deep understanding of pool systems, advanced plumbing and electrical knowledge, as well as exceptional leadership skills. The Service Technician Manager will provide technical guidance and training to other technicians, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.  The role also has the potential for growth into additional leadership areas for the right candidate!

Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of pool service equipment technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
• Install, maintain, and repair complex pool and spa equipment, including advanced automation systems, variable speed pumps, and salt chlorination systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate equipment malfunctions, identifying and resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
• Perform advanced plumbing and electrical repairs, including pipefitting, wiring, and control system troubleshooting.
• Conduct thorough equipment inspections and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations, including cost estimates.
• Manage and prioritize service calls, ensuring timely and efficient completion of work.
• Leverage a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job, and ensure team members do the same.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of complex equipment issues and repair options.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment, and ensure team members do the same.
• Assist with training and development of junior technicians.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues.
• Assist the General Manager and Office Manager with scheduling and resource allocation.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in pool equipment service and maintenance, commercial plumbing or related field
• A proven track record of team leadership or mentorship preferred.
Military Veterans encouraged to apply
• Expert knowledge of pool and spa systems, including advanced plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (preferred).
• EPA certification and/or Advanced certifications in relevant trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing) desirable.
