At Tahiti Village Resort & Spa we are looking for energetic, professional team player with excellent communications skills. Positive attitude to deliver great customer experience and support our mission to create memorable experiences for ours guests.
ROLE
Maintain and operate Tahiti Village's Lazy River, Swimming Pool, Spas, and all other water features. Perform related work as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all Safety and Security procedures to protect and ensure the safety of our guests, employees, and assets.
Maintain a flexible work schedule based on business needs.
Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction with owners and guests.
Operates repairs, maintains, and cleans mechanical equipment for pool operation including water filtration and chemical purification systems, intake and outlet valves, chemical feeders, pumps,
compressors, seals, vacuum equipment, and chlorine metering devices.
Regulates water temperature and levels.
Determines and implements preventive maintenance program for pool operation.
Operates and maintains pool boiler system and participates in major repairs.
Restarts and resets pilot and electrical boiler system and system alarms.
Insures non-mechanical pool equipment meets code specifications.
Coordinates walk-through inspections of pool facilities and takes necessary corrective action.
Oversees shut down for annual and emergency maintenance procedures.
Monitors building operations and ensures sanitation codes are met.
Stores toxic chemicals, sa7itizes swim decks, check filter operations and vacuums pool floors. Replaces underwater lights.
Requirements
Effective oral and written communication skills in English
Have a minimum of 5 years Maintenance Tech/Engineer experience.
Have a minimum of 3 years maintenance supervisory experience.
Have basic office productivity knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Must have working knowledge of pool operations and CPO certification.
Using hand tools associated with plumbing and electrical trades and pool maintenance.
Operating a water regulating, filtration, and purification system in a public swimming pool.
Maintaining and repairing commercial swimming pool mechanical equipment including water intake, outlet, and filtration systems.
Safety procedures for stacking, handling, and using toxic chemicals.
Good knowledge of life, safety, and health codes for public swimming pools
REVENUE/BUDGETARY/STAF RESPONSIBILITY
The position would require that the area is within the budgetary limits set by the Director of Facilities
