Secondary Market Tracking and Shipping

• Assist in the tracking and shipping of loans to others by IHFA. Manage and account for notes to and from the document custodians. 
• Ensure all secondary loan commitments are delivered timely and accurately.
• Identify loans for the commitments.
• Review notes and manage warehouses, communicate with partner states about loan issues. 

Department Support

• Assist as necessary to meet department goals to ensure all loans received are securitized within agency guidelines. 
• Provide support for the administrative functions for the department.

Customer Service

• Work to ensure customer service needs are met, adhere to guidelines and regulatory requirements in the processing and securitization of single-family loans   while maintaining excellent relations with Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Work with IHFA teams to resolve problems with loans both before and after securitization. 

Personal Development

• Participate in training and cross-training on   an individual basis with department staff.
• Foster a team atmosphere.
• Attend job-related classes and seminars to   acquire necessary job-related knowledge.

May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have 3+ years’ experience in mortgage lending, or processing/closing background.
• Must be self-directed and motivated performer with strong PC and communication skills.
• The employee is required to participate in training and other educational classes that benefit the Association and the individual as it relates to the position.
• He/she must work towards the Association goals as a team player.
