JOB SUMMARY:
A Rose Valley Management Porter is an essential team member who is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and in resident units.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including hallways, stairwells, breezeways, clubhouses, fitness centers, laundry rooms, and restrooms
Perform daily groundskeeping duties such as trash and litter removal, sweeping walkways, and maintaining parking areas
Assist with trash management, including collection of dumpster areas and compactor rooms
Support move-in and move-out preparations, including light cleaning and basic apartment setup
Monitor community grounds and amenities for safety hazards and report issues to the maintenance team
Assist maintenance staff with light duties as needed (changing light bulbs, painting touch-ups, replacing signage, etc.)
Ensure supplies and cleaning materials are properly stocked and stored
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and on-call or emergency protocols when applicable
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
As an essential player in the continued success of the property, it is important our Porter has excellent customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative. Additionally, prior experience working in maintenance at an apartment community is a must and strong written, verbal and computer skills are preferred.
