Porter - We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Porter to join our team. The porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the dealership lot is organized, vehicles are properly positioned, and customer experiences are exceptional.
Responsibilities will Include:
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the parking lot
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times
- Ensuring common courtesy is shown toward all clients
- Maintains professional appearance
- Friendly and customer service focused
- Directing and parking vehicles in an organized manner
- Checking vehicles for damages and reporting any issues
- Performing minor vehicle maintenance such as car washing, tire pressure checks, and fluid top-ups
- Ensuring that all parked vehicles are locked and secure
- Keeping track of parking spaces availability
- Assisting with the movement and display of vehicles for sale
- Enforcing parking lot safety rules and regulations
- Monitor and maintain safety and security in the parking area
- Ensure the parking lot is free from debris and litter
- Assist with vehicle movement as needed
- Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to management
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Customer-focused attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
