Porter - Cumberland Toyota

The Porter plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience at our Toyota dealership. This position supports both the Service department by ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, fueled, and ready for customers while maintaining a safe, professional, and efficient dealership environment.


Vehicle & Lot Operations

• 
  Move, park, and organize customer and dealership vehicles safely and efficiently
  


• 
  Maintain clean, orderly vehicle lots and service drive areas
  


• 
  Ensure vehicles are properly staged for sales, service appointments, and deliveries
  


• 
  Perform basic vehicle prep (remove protective plastic, check for cleanliness, etc.)
  

• 
  Assist with customer vehicle check-in and check-out as directed
  


• 
  Transport vehicles between service, wash, and parking areas
  


• 
  Perform basic vehicle cleaning and vacuuming as needed
  


• 
  Support advisors and technicians with vehicle flow and organization
  

• 
  Greet customers professionally and courteously
  


• 
  Provide basic assistance to customers when requested
  


• 
  Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude at all times
  

• 
  Keep dealership grounds clean and free of debris
  


• 
  Follow all safety guidelines and dealership procedures
  


• 
  Report vehicle damage or safety concerns immediately
  

• 
  Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  


• 
  Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  


• 
  Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  


• 
  Prior dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but not required
  

• 
  Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

  Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the day
