The position will support our Center located in the Bronx:

Hours: 9 am to 5 pm

Full time

$18.00 an hour

PTO, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Purpose and Role

This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance, overall cleanliness, appearance, and safety standards of the facility. The internal Day Porter will ensure all facilities meet the requirements set by Center Management and the Facilities Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Receiving and managing inventory stock for soft goods and supplies received at the center, both critical and non-critical

2. Utilizing FIFO to manage storage inventory areas

3. Maintaining production and employee area waste, including biohazard waste removal

4. Performing light facility maintenance activities and building improvements (i.e., replacing signage, painting, light fixture bulbs, etc.)

5. Informs center management on facility needs that may require escalation to the Facilities Manager.

6. Clean all common areas such as breakrooms, lobby, waiting areas, and perimeters of the outside of the building. 2

Job Description Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalency is required.


• Must be able to work independently with minimal direct oversight


• Able to evaluate and interpret regulations and recognize the need for appropriate changes relative to business operations


• Organizational skills and attention to detail


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Professional communication and the ability to inform and report appropriately to center leadership


• Ability to execute multi-step technical driven tasks


• Ability to travel up to 10%, or as needed locally
