Job Details: Björk Cafe & Bistro New York, NY is looking for one porter/dishwasher to join our team. We are located at 58 Park Avenue, NY, NY 10016. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Follows daily cleaning list as assigned by Manager


• Performs basic organizing and cleaning requirment around the kitchen


• Restocks items that were depleted during the shift  


• Manages proper storing temperatures according to DOH regulations  


• Follows proper cleaning procedures according to DOH regulations  


• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand


• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven working experience as a dishwasher- porter


• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules


• Multi-tasking abilities 


• High integrity with a great attendance record


• Ability to listen and communicate effectively


• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment with co worker and guests
