Porter/Greeter

Position Summary:
The Porter / Greeter is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for customers while maintaining the dealership's appearance and assisting with vehicle movement and general lot organization. This position combines customer service with operational support to ensure an exceptional dealership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.


• Welcome guests and direct them to the appropriate sales, service, or parts department.


• Assist customers with basic questions and notify the appropriate team member of their arrival.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive showroom, customer lounge, and dealership grounds.


• Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership lot, service drive, and showroom as needed.


• Prepare vehicles for display, customer delivery, and test drives by ensuring they are clean and fueled.


• Monitor vehicle inventory and keep parking areas organized.


• Shuttle vehicles between departments or off-site locations when necessary.


• Assist with snow removal, lot maintenance, and other seasonal tasks.


• Support dealership events and promotional activities.


• Assisting with vehicle detailing as needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.


• Excellent customer service and communication skills.


• Friendly, professional appearance and demeanor.


• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the workday.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
