Portfolio Manager

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides direct administrative support to Commercial Loan Officers.
• Safeguards the quality of the Bank’s loan portfolio by assisting with the management of the level of exceptions and delinquencies.
• Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data.
• Follows up with customers for financial statements and other information as requested
• Coordinates with Credit Analysts to maximize their use for underwriting and compliance review
• Partners with Credit Administration to ensure proper documentation, loan closing and file preparation
• Provides quality customer service to clients.
• Facilitates customer meetings with or in the absence of the Loan Officer.

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or accounting; or equivalent training
• Minimum three (3) years experience relevant banking experience with experience in lending area preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of business financial statements and tax returns
• Strong computer/technology skills with the ability to learn new systems if necessary.
• Must be extremely organized, accurate and be able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
