Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Portfolio Operations Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing the valuation of our portfolio investments, providing insightful analysis, and ensuring accurate reporting to our investors and stakeholders. This role will involve close collaboration with the front office team and portfolio companies to gather necessary data and facilitate effective communication.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive valuations of portfolio investments using various methodologies, including discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
Analyze financial statements, market trends, and industry benchmarks to assess the performance and valuation of portfolio companies.
Develop and maintain financial models to support valuation assessments and scenario analysis.
Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, investment committees, and external investors.
Liaise with the front office team to gather relevant information and insights on portfolio companies and investment opportunities.
Collaborate closely with portfolio companies to gather data, answer inquiries, and facilitate the valuation process.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for investors and regulatory compliance.
Stay updated on industry best practices, valuation standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure adherence to relevant guidelines.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Prior experience in valuation, financial analysis, or investment banking, preferably within the private equity or asset management industry.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent Technical skills to build assist in building out Portfolio Reporting platforms.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with senior stakeholders.
Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
