Post Closer

The Post-Closer plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and completeness of real estate closing files after the transaction has been completed. This role is responsible for reviewing post-closing documentation, verifying financial transactions, coordinating with involved parties, and finalizing all required records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties

• Reviews post-closing packages and all included documents.
• Corrects and modifies recordable documents.
• Verifies money received for preparation of policies and recording of documents.
• Coordinates with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys to ensure a smooth post-closing process.
• Scans closing packages.
• Fund files after closing per instructions.
• Resolves post-closing matters as directed by supervisor.
• Participates in department functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
• Fills in for closer when needed.

• 3+ years closing experience in a title company setting
• Valid Notary commission with the State
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent organizational skills (attention to detail)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work with confidential information and data
• Knowledge of office equipment (computers, fax machines, printers, telephone systems and calculators)
