Post Sales CAD Engineer – Tampa, FL

A market -leading DoD/DoW and Federal Government AV integrator is seeking a full -time Post Sales CAD Engineer to join its growing engineering team in Tampa, FL. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Programmers, Sales Engineers, and Installation Teams to deliver high -quality audiovisual and unified communications solutions for government and enterprise clients.

The Post Sales CAD Engineer will be responsible for supporting AV system implementations from project kickoff through completion by creating detailed CAD drawings, engineering documentation, system layouts, and project revisions. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring project accuracy, technical consistency, and successful execution across multiple concurrent projects

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain detailed AV system drawings, signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and architectural documentation using AutoCAD
  
• Review project scopes of work, equipment lists, and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
  
• Support post -sales engineering efforts for AV, video conferencing, and integrated technology systems
  
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Programmers, Technicians, and other stakeholders throughout project execution
  
• Generate and revise engineering documentation, including power, data, and infrastructure requirements
  
• Process drawing revisions, markups, and engineering change orders as projects evolve
  
• Assist in resolving technical issues during system implementation and commissioning phases
  
• Maintain documentation standards and ensure consistency across all project deliverables
  
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
  
• Provide technical support and coordination with internal teams and external trades when necessary
  
• Effectively communicate project updates, technical concerns, and documentation changes
