POSITION SPECIFICS
The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill one Postdoctoral Researcher position to work on the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) dark matter experiment and detector R&D. The successful candidate is expected to play a strong role in the LZ data analysis, mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the group, and work on R&D for the next generation of dark matter detectors at Penn State.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics, and the ideal candidate should have experience with experimental particle astrophysics or a related field, and previous experience in direct dark matter searches and/or noble liquid detectors will be an advantage.
