• Records accurate, clear, and complete experimental data and methods
• Interprets data and recognizes errors or unusual results when they occur
• Summarizes experimental results and presents to lab group
• Functions independently, as well as actively participate in team responsibilities
• Performs experiments that are routine in nature and troubleshoots studies with supervision
• Takes direction and then manages semi-routine tasks independently
• Helps maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked laboratory
• Assists as a contact for EHS and Lab Safety interactions and compliance activities
• Performs various assays, including cell-based assays & ELISA/Binding assays
• Aids in the development and qualification of cell-based assays or binding assays

Required Qualifications

• Accurate and good pipetting ability in both single and multichannel pipetting required
• Experience with aseptic technique, cell culture, and bioassays, particularly cell-based & binding assays – highly desirable
• Meticulous attention to detail, quality and compliance following assay procedures, data reporting and execution of experiments
• Previous laboratory experience in a development or GLP or QC setting is desirable
• Strong written, verbal, organization and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering, biology, or related field, and 2+ years of laboratory experience (either academic or industry) would be preferred
