Pouching Operator (Day Shift)

Accredo Packaging, Inc. manufactures and supplies sustainable, high value added, flexible packaging, predominantly for the pre-packaged foods and consumer products markets in North America. We are currently seeking a Pouching Operator (Night and Day shifts) to join our team.

Location:12682 Cardinal Meadow Dr, Sugar Land, TX 77478

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM with a 2/3/2 Rotation

Hourly rate: $17.00. Night shift if eligible for a $2.00 shift differential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives and thoroughly reviews and understands the Pouching job jackets, job specifications, and customer requirements.
• Performs Pouching job setup/changeover and operates/troubleshoots following all Accredo procedures and safety measures.
• Reports/corrects nonconforming issues, records/tracks production output and scrap and reports runtime vs. downtime.
• Coordinate with Pouching packers and team to visually inspects and tests film for quality defects.
• Checks all tools and equipment at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure good housekeeping is maintained.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in operating bag machines or similar equipment preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret production orders and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
• Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving parts.

Other Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Completion of training courses as determined by management.
• Willingness to continue learning and developing within the role.
