Power BI Developer

• Report & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and
  
• visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for
  
• various business units.
  
• Data Modeling: Create and manage complex data models, relationships, and
  
• calculations using Power BI Desktop and Power Query.
  
• Data Integration: Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel,
  
• SharePoint, APIs) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) as
  
• needed.
  
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for
  
• performance, ensuring quick load times and responsiveness.
  
• User Support: Provide technical support and training to end -users, helping them
  
• understand and leverage Power BI tools effectively.
  
• Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable
  
• business insights.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, data
  
• scientists, and IT teams, to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet
  
• business needs.
  
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all Power BI
  
• projects, including data sources, calculations, and report design.
  
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure data governance standards and best practices are
  
• followed, maintaining data security and privacy.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a
  
• related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate)
  
• are a plus.
  
• Proven experience of 3 years+ as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role, with a
  
• strong portfolio of developed Power BI reports and dashboards.
  
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query.
  
• Strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M (Power Query Formula
  
• Language).
  
• Experience with SQL and other data querying languages.
  
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles.
  
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
  
• Strong analytical and problem -solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
