Power BI Developer/Analyst

FI/IWMS Product Delivery - Shared Services has an opportunity for a skilled IT Data Analyst to assist with establishing a reporting function focused on IT Governance foundational data. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with team members in the analysis, selection, and development of various technology lifecycle management and enterprise infrastructure initiative views to begin improving status reporting and data transparency through multiple lenses. A successful candidate will be experienced in multiple data visualization tools and an independent self-starter with a passion for data quality.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports focused on Product Area and Chapter Area views of Technology Lifecycle Management and other top priority initiatives.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in the dashboards.
Document development and maintenance procedures associated with the newly created reporting suite.
Train and mentor Shared Services staff to enable them to manage the existing reporting suite and make any necessary future enhancements.
The Skills you Bring: A bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of technology-related experience
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other similar applications
Familiarity with ServiceNow data and the processes it supports or other asset management software. Snowflake experience is a plus.
Experience constructing compelling presentations and visual dashboards.
Proven expertise in authoring and execution of data queries and the ability to summarize or draw conclusions from data.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to internalize the broader objectives and work under moderate supervision to complete tasks with high quality.

The Team:

This role sits in the FIT, Fidelity Institutional Technology, organization as a part of a group called Product Delivery Excellence and we partner with Domains across the Fidelity Institutional and Institutional Wealth Management Services businesses. The FIT Product Delivery - Shared Services team is a multi-functional technology organization that provides common services for FIT including IT Governance, Portfolio and Workforce Support and various services aligned to infrastructure and application support. This role will have direct alignment with the IT Governance services focused on providing FI/IWMS/FIT leadership and support for Technology Lifecycle Management, Obsolescence Management and high priority Enterprise Technology initiatives.
Dynamic Working

At Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call Dynamic Working. Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks.
