Power Pro Supply / Logistics Technician

As the Power Pro – Supply / Logistics Technician,  you will be responsible for supporting power production and electrical operations by managing supply chain, logistics, inventory control, and material readiness. This role ensures that all equipment, tools, spare parts, and consumables required for power generation, distribution, and maintenance activities are available, serviceable, and properly documented in support of mission-critical operations at Al Udeid Air Base.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Supply & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory of power production and electrical supply assets, including generators, transformers, switchgear, tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• Track, receive, store, issue, and account for all supply items in accordance with base, contract, and U.S. Air Force procedures.
• Conduct routine and periodic inventories; reconcile discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of hazardous materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Coordinate ordering, shipping, receiving, and distribution of supplies and equipment supporting power operations.
• Prepare and process supply requests, requisitions, and documentation through approved logistics systems.
• Liaise with transportation, warehouse, and maintenance personnel to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.
• Support deployment, installation, relocation, or recovery of power equipment as required.

• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to inventory levels, equipment status, and supply transactions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, technical orders, safety standards, and base regulations.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and readiness assessments.

• Provide logistical support to power production technicians during maintenance, repair, and emergency operations.
• Assist in contingency operations and rapid response requirements to maintain uninterrupted power support to base facilities.
• Perform additional duties assigned in support of mission requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in supply, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably supporting power production, electrical, or industrial operations.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic logistics documentation.

• Prior experience supporting U.S. military installations or overseas operations.
• Knowledge of power generation equipment and electrical supply components.
• Experience working with hazardous materials (HAZMAT).
• Forklift or material-handling equipment certification.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
• Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
• Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
• Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
• Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

TRAVEL: 100%, in deployed location.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
