Fayetteville Public Works Commission is seeking an experienced Powerline Field Supervisor to lead, coordinate, and prioritize the work of field teams responsible for high-voltage overhead and underground electric distribution systems. This position oversees construction, maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, emergency response, and contractor activities while promoting safe, reliable electric service.
The ideal candidate is an experienced electric utility professional with strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to lead geographically dispersed crews and multiple projects.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following combinations:
Graduation from a four (4) year accredited university/college with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical or electronic technology or related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience working as an electric power line technician first class, or related field, which includes two (2) years in a supervisory capacity; OR
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and a minimum of twelve (12) years of progressively responsible experience as defined in (A) and (B) above; OR
