What You Can Bring to Us:
This award-winning, rapidly growing law firm is urgently seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and driven Legal Assistant to support our PI Litigation department. In this role you will have the opportunity to perform the following responsibilities:
· Maintain attorney calendar including calendaring appearances and deadlines.
· Prepare notices, schedule depositions, and serve subpoenas.
· Prepare documents for e-filing with federal courts.
· Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel.
· Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.
Your Skills:
· At least two years working as a legal assistant.
· Knowledge of California and Federal Civil Procedure.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
· Great time management and multi-tasking skills.
· Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision.
· Must be organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter.
· Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.
